Holding Everyone Together is Exhausting
Hello, and welcome. I’m Dr. Vicki Chiang, a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience providing therapy for women and parents. I offer compassionate, evidence-based mental health support for individuals navigating stress, life transitions, and the challenges of modern life.
I specialize in therapy for parents and women who are feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or stretched thin by the demands of everyday responsibilities. Whether you’re seeking parenting support, help managing stress and anxiety, or guidance through a major life transition, I work with you to develop practical, personalized strategies that fit your life and values.
I have a particular passion for working with women balancing multiple roles—such as partners, mothers, caregivers, and professionals. Together, we can focus on building self-confidence, setting healthy boundaries, and creating a greater sense of balance and fulfillment.
As a Chinese American psychologist and daughter of immigrants, I provide culturally responsive therapy for women navigating cultural expectations, identity, and family dynamics. I understand the unique pressures that can come from these experiences and support clients in developing a stronger sense of self and confidence in their voice.
My approach to therapy is relational, collaborative, and skills-based, drawing from evidence-based practices to support meaningful, lasting change. I aim to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts and experiences. I also incorporate practical tools—and, when appropriate, a sense of humor—to help make the process feel approachable and empowering.
If you’re looking for a licensed psychologist specializing in therapy for women, parenting support, or culturally responsive care, I invite you to schedule a consultation. Finding the right therapist is an important step, and I would be honored to support you in your journey.
